Spiritual Counseling
My Approach
My spiritual counseling is not based on a religion.

Rather, I take an interspiritual approach that honors all of the world’s wisdom traditions, looking for universal truths that allow us to connect to wholeness. Some people call that wholeness God, the Universe, or Mother Nature. I'm open to any name.
I help people investigate their own religious/spiritual backgrounds and discover what feels true and wholesome for them right now to live a spiritually fulfilled life of purpose and connection to something greater than themselves.
This process involves dialogue, contemplation, journaling, and mindfulness education and practices. For those who are interested, I can also provide guidance around rituals and earth-based spiritual practices.

I am not here to push an agenda of what "being spiritual" means or looks like. I approach these conversations from a place of curiosity and mystic wonder, with the utmost respect for each individual's personal beliefs, preferences, and comfort.

Spirituality is often an overlooked component to physical and mental healing. Sometimes, developing a personal spiritual practice, in conjunction with other healing modalities, can improve outcomes.

My Background
Raised in a Jewish household, my personal path now weaves together wisdom from Buddhism, Advaita Vedanta, Christianity, Sufism, Umbanda, and Indigenous earth-based traditions.

My approach to spiritual counseling is based on an ongoing, multi-year study with the Forest Path, an interspiritual center in Lake Atitlán, Guatemala. Since July 2024, I have worked as the personal editor for Jaya, the spiritual leader of the center, supporting the writing and publication of his non-dual teachings and mystic poetry.
In April 2025, Tímo and I became the founding board members of the Church of the Forest Path, which is legally incorporated in the state of California and recognized nationally. We carry on the Forest Path's non-dual spiritual study within our community in Santa Barbara, California, under the guidance of our teachers in Guatemala.
An individualized approach
About
This form of coaching is highly personalized. There's no one-size-fits-all approach. Individuals may choose to have a single session focusing on a specific spiritual issue or situation that's arisen for them. Others may want to build a longer relationship to be in deeper inquiry about their spiritual life.

Single 60-minute session: $150
Package of four 60-minute sessions: $500

Sessions are virtual or in-person at my healing space in
Santa Barbara, California

Want a more structured approach?
In this series of four, 60‑minute, 1:1 sessions, you’ll be guided through a process of deep spiritual exploration and integration. Together, we will:

-
Release past spiritual beliefs or conditioning that no longer feel true or supportive.
-
Re‑examine your spiritual views with fresh eyes, free from dogma or top‑down teaching—trusting that your answers come from within.
-
Develop personal spiritual practices that reflect and nourish your unique beliefs.
-
Clarify and cultivate core values or “virtues” that resonate with your spiritual path.
-
Learn to draw on your spirituality as a source of strength and stability in times of personal or global challenge.
Each session concludes with a live guided meditation, and you’ll receive exclusive recordings of these meditations so you can revisit them anytime. Between sessions, I’ll offer optional but encouraged practices and exercises to help you deepen your insights and sustain your growth.

You may complete the four sessions at a pace that works for you—most people choose to meet weekly or every other week.

Cost: $500 for all four sessions, paid in full at the start.
